Voter Registration at PrideFest ️

We will have 2 shifts of a tabling and walk-the-crowd event to register voters, encourage them to set up vote by mail and sign the Clean Water petition. We will also hand out leaflets for the marijuana and abortion amendments.
This is a much coveted volunteer event and I will cap it at 10 people. Sign up early! And come wearing your finest Democratic regalia. I wore my “Don’t Say DeSantis” tee shirt last year and got many visitors to the table because of it. They loved it.
Please come prepared for sun and heat. Bring a hat.
Please know that you must be trained to do Voter Registration. There will be a training session set up in late May for those of you who are not trained and wish to participate. Watch on Mobilize for the date and time.
Also, please know that you must be registered as a Democrat to represent the Democratic Party. I know that some of you have changed your party to vote in the Republican election and primary. If you still want to help, contact me privately and we will figure out a way for you to stay involved. You could hand out leaflets and get signatures on the Clean Water petition, for example. We want to make the best use of your passion and commitment to our Democratic values.
